A compact trifold wallet from master-piece's Folder Indigo series — the first edition of the brand's exclusive in-store wallet program, released in April 2025 and sold only at master-piece's directly-operated shops in Japan. Not available through their online store or any overseas stockist.
The leather carries a deep, uneven indigo finish that reads almost black at angles and shifts toward navy in direct light — the kind of color that comes from dye penetrating leather slowly rather than coating it. Contrast white saddle stitching runs the full perimeter. The trifold layout opens to reveal three card slots, a billfold compartment, a coin pocket secured by a snap, and a hidden compartment behind the card slots. A small notch on the spine functions as an IC card slot, sized for transit cards and tap-to-pay.
Made in Osaka by master-piece, the bag and leather maker founded by Taichi Fujimatsu in 1994 and still producing at their own factory there.
