Chunky ribbed crew socks from Kapital’s long-running Heel Smilie series, knit at the brand’s Kojima facility. A small smiley face is worked into the back of the heel in a contrast pale yellow yarn, with the base of the sock knit in natural ivory cotton.
The smiley carries a hidden reference to the kanji 雨 (あめ), meaning rain. The two dots above the eyes echo the four short strokes inside the character, and the curved mouth below stands in for its enclosing frame.
Constructed in a 3x1 rib using a 56-yarn cotton blend for density and structure. The heel and toe are reinforced for durability. The instep carries Kapital’s signature mock military stencil: Type 00 · Drawing No. 02-S-1/2 · Miracle No. · Nasty-Slowly · Earth Clothing Co. · Kapital Inc.
