The whole conceit of Peacemaker is in the tag. Fugazi printed it as a U.S. military contract label — stock number, contract number, sizing given as height over 63 inches, chest 41 to 45 inches — for a cream sherpa jacket that has never been near a quartermaster. That's the brand's entire operating principle in one square of woven cotton. Trevor Gorji named the label after slang for fake and has spent the years since making the joke well enough that it stopped being one.
Worn fleece-out: heavy cream sherpa with olive drab binding at the collar, placket and hem, olive elbow patches, a zippered chest pocket with a cord pull, two zip hand pockets, and a small red woven tab at the chest.
Flip it: olive drab cotton shell, clean and quiet, with the white Fugazi globe at the left chest and the globe again across the back next to 2008 in large serif numerals. Two open patch pockets. Same jacket, two entirely different registers — one loud, one you could wear to dinner.
