The store
The shop builds a room as much as a rack. You come in for a shirt and stay for the graphics, the printed matter, and the energy of the space.
Brain Dead, the brand
Brain Dead started in Los Angeles and grew into a creative collective spanning clothing, film, and design. Its Rizzoli book, Clothing for a Curious Life, traces that range. We have a copy in the shop now.
Why Portland, why now
A younger brand opening in Portland is a good sign for where the city is headed. It shows Portland as a place brands choose to build in, and we are excited to see more of that energy arrive.
